Scholarships

The Kate Reeves Memorial Scholarship is available for a female entering the field of educuation.  Interested seniors should see Ms. Shippey for an application.  The deadline is March 30th.

State Employees Association of NC (SEANC) scholarship is now available.  Application and details are available atwww.seanc.org under "Member Benefits".  The deadline is April 15th.

Community Foundation of Western NC's common scholarship application is due Wednesday, JANUARY 18TH, to Ms. Shippey in the Guidance Office.  See Ms. Shippey or the website (www.cfwnc.org) for an application.

Seniors with an aptitude for music should apply for the Ione M. Allen Music Scholarship.  Applications are available atwww.csascholars.org and the deadline is February 6th.

The State Employees Credit Union "People Helping People" scholarship application is now available.  See Ms. Shippey for an application.  The deadline is March 30th.

The A-B Tech Community Foundation scholarship application is now available at abtech.edu/foundation/scholarships.  The deadline to apply is March 31st.

The Best Buy Scholarship Program is now open.  Apply online at www.bestbuy-communityrelations.com.  The deadline is February 15th.

Seniors who are running a small business are qualified for the NFIB Young Entrepreneur Award.  See www.NFIB.com/YEA for more information.

The Criminal Justice II class has been added to the spring schedule for second block. Any junior or senior interested in taking this course should see their guidance counselor to add the course.

Juniors or seniors interested in taking a class at A-B Tech next semester (online or face-to-face) need to see Ms. Shippey before we leave for Thanksgiving break!

BigSun Scholarship

 The BigSun Organization has a scholarship available for a student athlete.  For more information go towww.bigsunathletics.com.  The deadline is June 22, 2012.

ETSU is hosting a student reception at the Crowne Plaza in Asheville for anyone interested in ETSU admissions.  Students should RSVP by Nov. 21st to 1-800-462-3878 or vaneaton@etsu.edu or duncandj@etsu.edu.
